Being the new breed in the Mizuno MP20 lineup, the Mizuno MP20 HMB arrives to assist golfers that require more launch and forgiveness in a tour-inspired head design. Featuring a Chromoly Face and Neck, the HMB features explosive ball speeds whilst the legendary copper insert returns to offer an outstanding feel with unmatched feedback. Like the entire MP20 range, the Hot Metal Blades are Grain Flow Forged in Hiroshima, Japan and contains the original copper laying found in the TN-87 Irons.
Mizuno MP20 HMB Irons
"A few years back it was a surprise to see truly elite tour players with more than one long iron replacement – but now that we’ve found their acceptance point on offset, size and proportions, there’s a new set who are open-minded to the #5 iron and beyond. We’re excited to see what happens when they experiment with the HMB" - Jeff Cook / PGA Tour Manager
In the 2 to 8 iron, the MP20 HMB features the multi-thickness Grain Flow Forged Chromoly in the neck and face, whilst a twin 12g tungsten weight is situated low in the head of the 2 and 7 iron to improve stability and provide easy launch. To complement the feel in the shorter irons, a softer 1025E Pure Select Mild Carbon Steel is soft and responsive (9-PW).
